Nearly 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer handling civil and criminal matters in federal and state courts.
- As an Assistant Attorney General, prosecuted economic crimes, credit card and insurance fraud, and public corruption cases; investigated violations of minority set-aside provisions in state contracts; served on Urban Violence Strike Force and Massachusetts Domestic Violence Council; conducted police training on domestic violence issues.
- In private practice, defended law firm in multi-district civil RICO litigation; took depositions and managed discovery for reinsurance company in national environmental suit involving 122 Superfund sites; prepared expert witnesses in federal Medicaid fraud trial; served as Chancellor for an Episcopal church in Chatham, MA, and represented church at trial against Historic Business District Commission.
